Book Details

All proceeds go toward helping abused animals.

Dr. Gilbert writes her most vulnerable and straightforward approach to understanding the differences between knowledge and wisdom, knowing and doing, religious and spiritual, rightness and wellness. She illustrates graphic examples of the substance of her work and the trauma and post traumatic stress accompanying it. She writes from her heart. This is her last book. She resides in Monterey, California with her special furry friend, a Westie named “Max.” She humbly appreciates her faith in God and the difference it has made in her life as well as the strength it has provided to complete her challenging work. This is a must read book for anyone who cares about human life and the trauma and violence which challenges us all in today’s world.
