Author Information...

JaggerJOHN JAGGER has been a professional sculptor since 1961. Nine years a Senior Industrial Designer for IBM, he learned of Charles Eames and Harry Bertoia's use of wire and metal rod as an art medium. Jagger achieved his M.A., mastered the acetylene torch, switched from steel to bronze, and created many bronzes and monuments throughout the country and the world. He worked with churches, casinos, corpora- tions, wineries, hospitals and hotels, banks and office buildings---with thousands of collectors vying for his smaller works. His last four years' contract built 12 large scale works for Sculpterra Winery in Paso Robles, CA, before moving to Austin, Texas the latter part of 2007. If you are into large scale works, check it out: This is the first of his three books, and he is already scouring the Country for a location for his next full-scale sculpture garden; and a classy venue for his sculptural archives.
