Set in the 1960’s, Two Ends of a Good Road tells the story of Henry Parker, jaded and insecure after being orphaned in his early teens, and nearing graduation from college. Seeking adventure, he hires a native American guide, Wayne Seesfar, to show him the Utah

wilderness. When Henry meets his guide, he is both surprised and concerned by the man’s advanced age. They get off to a shaky start, but Henry is intrigued by Wayne’s broad knowledge and mysterious ways, his talking with animals, the sky, and mountains, and especially his ability to seemingly know things before they happen.

Wilderness beauty, tranquility, and deep conversations with his guide inspire Henry and help open him to new possibilities. Personal loss as well as encounters with poachers and wild animals lead Henry to a deeper understanding of the natural world and his own psyche. Henry must face his deepest fears and overcome more tragedy if he is to find his true path in life. Can he find the courage?
