Make Every Page of Your Book a Work of Art
When it comes to the layout and design of a manuscript, authors often fall into one of three camps.
Industry-Standard - You don't have specific design or formatting ideas and would rather rely upon our expertise in formatting the book according to industry best practices based on your book's genre.
If this is you, then you are best served by the free Standard Interior Formatting that comes with every publishing package.
Custom Layout & Design - You have very specific formatting requirements that often differ by chapter and/or even by page in some instances. The establishment of a manuscript design style sheet rarely pertains to these books because the interior is so specific, and so custom, that you require one-on-one, page-by-page input with the designer.
If this is you, then you would be best served by this optional Custom Interior Formatting service.
And then there's everyone in between - You have a general idea of the font you want to use, or the treatment of the headers or footers or chapter pages, etc. Or, perhaps you want your final book formatted as closely as possible to your originally submitted manuscript.
If this is you, then you are best served by the Enhanced Interior Formatting with Author Input service.
Custom Book Layout & Design
The initial custom book layout will be based upon your originally submitted manuscript and any formatting efforts you made in your original manuscript will serve as instructions for the Book Designer. Of course, you can request specific changes on a per-page basis, as necessary.
You may be contacted by the Book Designer for specific participation in the layout of the manuscript at the sole discretion of the Book Designer. Outside of the direct communication initiated by the Book Designer, any additional communication concerning your book's design will be with your Author Representative.
The Custom Interior Formatting fees are non-refundable.
