Product description...

Manhatta started three years ago when photographer Keith Goldstein looked out the window from the 21st floor of the Empire State Building.

Inspired by the artistic legacy of Paul Strand and Charles Sheeler, I wanted to pay homage to their film through my own imagery. My first images were in black and white, but I decided to transcend their vision by opting for my own personal exploration through the use of color imagery. I sought the interplay of reflective light and employed long lenses to compress space, creating abstracted perspectives of the urban vista before me.
