Product description...

Death is inevitable, but murder is unjustifiable!

Blood in the Bayou is about an investigative reporter who finds herself in danger when she assists her veterinarian friend, Beanie, who is determined to save the Black Bears who dwell in the bayou at the Louisiana Atchafalaya National Wildlife Refuge. Someone has killed a cub and the two women are determined to find the culprit with the aid of the Wildlife and Fisheries police. Kari is stunned when she learns she knew the person whose body was discovered floating in the bayou less than 24 hours after they rent one of the cabins at the Refuge. This development drives her to solve what it was Hugh, an FBI agent, had been investigating, which was a kidnapping that occurred six years prior. Kari is convinced Hugh’s investigation is tied to something more sinister and soon finds her life in danger of the same fate as she delves into the mystery. There are twists and turns that leave the audience wondering who is guilty until the final chapter.
