Attorney Myles Alderman has guiding business leaders, accountants and lawyers through Chapter 11 Business Reorganizations since 1986. His clients include professional services firms, manufacturers, distributors, retailers and financial institutions ranging in size from closely held businesses to some the largest corporations in the world.
He is a member of the Business Bankruptcy Law Section of the American Bar Association. He serves the Connecticut Bar Association as a member of: the Connecticut Lawyer magazine's Advisory Committee; the Professional Discipline Committee; Media and the Law Committee, the Business Law Committee, and the Executive Committee of the Commercial law and Bankruptcy Section. He is also a member of the Business Bankruptcy Section and the Uniform Commercial Code Section of the American Bankruptcy Institute. He also serves the community as a member of the Human Rights Commission for the Town of West Hartford.
Mr. Alderman was educated at Syracuse University College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, in 1986. While at Syracuse, he was elected Managing Editor, of the Syracuse Journal of International Law and Commerce and was awarded the L.F.E. Goldie Award for Outstanding Scholarship. He earned his Bachelor of the Arts from Kenyon College, Gambier Ohio in 1982 with a degree in Economics and studying post-graduate economics at Cambridge University, Cambridge England.
