The author, Grace Elizabeth Putnam, known lovingly as “Bess”, is a musician by love and trade rooted to the rolling hills of Middleburg, Virginia where she was born. While carrying her eldest daughter, Gwenevere, this story spilled itself onto the page before her. All she had were the first two lines and half an hour later the story was finished.
