Product description...

Two Pieces Of Wood A Dramatic Story Of Conquest.

Challenged by a tempting and ravaged environment, I am living proof that miracles can and do happen. But it wasn’t always easy. On my journey to becoming a professional drummer, a debilitating physical mishap almost destroyed the odds of me ever building a career in the music industry. Although I wasn’t a child prodigy, with determination and daily practice my talents had grown to where I performed with many famous and not-so-famous musicians and entertainers, as well as publishing educational material for the aspiring drummer. But after all the hard work to get where I thought I wanted to be in life, something happened along the way. My earlier thoughts of becoming an Eastern Orthodox priest had resurfaced and I decided that all the things I worked so hard to achieve no longer took precedence. I found myself thinking in two completely different and conflicting worlds. One harbored a sophisticated identity and carefree lifestyle and the other portrayed a life as a humble servant. Loving one and unsure of the other the proverbial fork in the road became my nemesis. What it took to conquer this and other adversities is what this story is about. Bob Delich, Phd.
