Susan Mann-Ritchie is a new author who worked as a social worker for nearly thirty years. She worked to assist individuals, adults and children, with special needs to live as independently as possible. Her experience also includes children in foster care, adoption, adult residential facilities, as well as senior living. Her goal with Sammy's story is to teach other children to understand and accept children with special needs.
