Feelings, Fantasies and Forgots

This book is a compilation of poems, happenings, reflections, flash fiction stories, and short stories accrued over several decades. Many of the pieces involve nature and its connection to the Creator. Some pieces reflect observations of people and their habits and eccentricities, such as The Blue Hair Express which describes a collection of elderly ladies who regularly take the "church bus" to their place of worship on Sundays. A number of the reflections describe life and places in a bygone era. The haiku poems contain profound wisdom, at least in the author's eyes.

The author was born in Brevard County, FL, grew up in Habersham County, GA, received a BS degree in mathematics at University of Georgia, and lived and worked in Atlanta, GA and suburbs until retiring in February 2014. He now lives in Lumpkin County, GA, near Amicalola Falls state park, and enjoys hiking, writing, and the fellowship of men's prayer groups.
