I am a married retired mother of two sons and one daughter. My husband, James and I have been married for forty-seven years. We have four wonderful grandsons and one granddaughter. I am a licensed and ordained minister. I served in ministry under Bishop Eddie L. Long of New Birth-Atlanta until 1995. I currently serve as the Prayer Ministry Leader under the Pastorate of Bishop Terrell L. Murphy at New Birth-Charlotte. In Ministry I have facilitated workshops for many Women Conferences and taught numerous classes. My profession of many years as an Administrative Assistant led to ownership of Errand’s Unlimited in Atlanta, where I performed errands for my customers as requested. This business expanded into a residential cleaning service. Over the years, God has allowed many youth to come through our home. First, there were two brothers Kevin & Donnie, then Ray who returned from the Marines with our son for two weeks that eventually became two years. Next were Romaine, Mercedes, Kenny and several others- not to mention the always hungry guys that came over to play with our sons…then stayed to eat. I thank God for what each of them have become. God is so faithful! My prayer is to inspire young single mothers to “save their children” through this book. My next venture is to open Granny’s House Community Activities Center for middle and high school youth.
