Synopsis

This book is the product of more than 20 years experience in teaching dream interpretation. The focus of which was to provide the tools and techniques for interpreting dreams without the aid of dream books or dictionaries of any kind. Everything you need to know to interpret dreams can be gleaned from the dreamers themselves. This book presents the step-by-step method that has been so successful in helping people to understand their dreams and gain greater insight into their lives. The book also includes suggestions people can use to improve their ability to recall their dreams, a chapter on “dream art” and how it can be used to improve the interpretive process and a discussion of common symbols and motifs found in dreams.

Dr. James B. G. Uhl has been a merchant marine officer on the Great Lakes and a Jesuit who taught school in Africa and worked as a chaplain to the men on death row at San Quentin prison. Upon leaving the priesthood he got his doctorate in clinical psychology. Through it all, his appreciation of the dream has allowed him to help others in significant ways.
