Choose the Cover for Your Book
Author-submitted print-ready cover (PDF file)
Do you already have the ENTIRE cover (front, spine, back) for your book in PRINT-READY format? If so, this option may be for you. Your print-ready file must be ready to print, with the front, spine and back of your book in a single print-ready PDF file that conforms to our specifications. Scroll down to the Product Details section for more information.
Our Ultimate, Full-Color, and Basic authors have the option of supplying us with their own print-ready PDF file of their cover, as long as the provided file conforms to our specs and includes the front, spine, and back (just having the front cover of a book is not print-ready. What about the spine and back?)
If you prefer to design the entire cover yourself we can even supply the print-ready specifications for the "bleed" and spine-width as either an InDesign or .EPS file, upon request, along with our necessary logos.
While supplying your own print-ready PDF file is free for Ultimate, Full-Color, and Basic authors, extra fees and hourly charges will apply if the provided file is not truly print-ready and/or does not fully conform to our printing specifications, thereby requiring our designers to get involved.
Additional fees will also apply if you decide after-the-fact to switch to one of our Free cover styles, so please be absolutely sure you have a print-ready file that meets our specifications before choosing this option.
