1. How does the illustrated cover design process work?
- You provide details (and pictures of you have them) which explain your desired cover design.
- We will send you a black/white concept sketch of your cover illustration.
- You let us know what moderate changes you have to the illustration
- The illustration is colorized and completed (no further changes may be made to it at this point).
- The custom illustration is then provided to your Cover Designer; and, based upon your input (if any), you will receive a custom concept cover using your original illustration.
- You let us know if you have any modifications to the layout design of your cover.
- Your changes are made and you will have a chance to review the final custom cover during the online proof review process.
2. Can I use a specific font on my cover?
- Our artists can draw in the title of your book right into your illustration if you want.
- You may provide a specific font to be used on your cover (keep in mind, you must have purchased a commercial license for any fonts you provide)
- Our talented Cover Designers can select a font they feel is appropriate to your book or based on your input.
3. Can I use my illustrated cover in my book marketing efforts?
- You receive an unlimited, non-exclusive license to use the illustration produced in any related book marketing efforts for, and only for, the specific book being published with this cover illustration.
