Coming home to the Wilds of Pennsylvania sets off a cascade of mayhem.

Jimmy Maxwell is on a journey with no definite end, riding his motorcycle with fly rods, on to ever changing destinations. That is, until an uncle passes away and leaves him a cabin and land back in the Wilds of Pennsylvania. His cross-country escapades end as he returns, along the way disrupted by an assorted lot of bumbling criminals, militia, and less than ethical law enforcement and judiciary. And while riding and fly fishing continue in the Wilds, a rolling wreck of events unfold around Jimmy and the local folks he meets, as they inadvertently help to unravel a network of criminal activity and backwoods buffoonery no one noticed or paid any attention to.

Glenn M. Scott is the author of a book of commentary and memoirs, “From Swillholes to Connoisseurs”. This is his first novel. A native of Pennsylvania, he is a retired military officer who resides with his wife Jan in Florida while writing and restoring vintage motorcycles, interrupted only by fly fishing and riding motorcycles across the country.
