Parrish is currently a civic activist after various adventures as a Navy jet navigator, as a lawyer, as a homebuilder of truly affordable houses for low-income families, as Chair of both Miami’s Historical Preservation and Planning & Zoning Boards, as a rowing coach of young people of both sexes from Middle School thru College, and as an author of articles and short anecdotes concerning life in Miami, Florida.
