He thought his wife’s brutal murder was finally behind him, but the appearance of her ring finger in a series of new murders, is pointing directly at him.

Paul Delaney, an ex-cop teaching criminal psychology, had endured sixteen months of deep psychiatric analysis and had thinly blocked out the vicious murder of his wife three years earlier. But the discovery of multiple women’s body parts arranged in a jigsaw pattern, including the ring finger of his dead wife, forces Paul to open the old wounds of his dark past, reach in and find the answers to that murder, even if they lead back to him, as a dogged Police Lieutenant, with reasons of his own, is determined to prove Paul’s guilt.
