The Virtue of Patience Withers Itself is Alistair Woo’s debut collection of poetry on our relationships with others, with the passage of time, and with ourselves. Alistair has been writing for nearly all his life and has collected this series of unapologetic, tender, and personal poetry as a send-off as he leaves high school, as a benchmark of both the end and the beginning.

Alistair Woo is 17 going on 18 and a senior in high school. He's been writing all of his life, completing his first book at 11 years old. Writing is an instrumental part of his life and something that will never truly leave, whether that be poetry, essays, or stories, and he plans to continue writing in college and beyond. He lives in Cincinnati Ohio with his family and five cats (one of them is a rabbit but he doesn't know it), and spends a great deal of his time walking up and down the same old street. It's good for the soul, so they say.
