E la Storia Continua (eBook Edition)

by Peter A. Chidichimo

digital

Product description...

The founding of the American Colony at Plymouth, the tragic story of Anne Frank, how Trump pulled off his astonishing victory….it’s all here in this poignant sequel to Peter’s first book, Fifty Things at Once, One Lesson at a Time, including the story of the millions of courageous Italians who immigrated to America in search of opportunity and prosperity. And among those brave immigrants were Guiseppe Chidichimo (Peter’s grandfather), as well as Pietro (Peter’s father).

In E la Storia Continua, Peter visits his family in the medieval city of Spoleto, as well as the southern village of Civita, where his father was born, and grew up. Then Peter proudly shares the achievements of his family in both America and Italy.

Ingrid sounded panicky, “you better get back here right away, the police have surrounded your bag, blocked off the area, and are calling for a robot to examine the contents.”

Not sure exactly, but probably within two or three kilometers of Civita, I began to tear up, the emotion of the moment.

Just as I contemplated turning around, the trail abruptly ended, with what I surmised to be some kind of rock slide.
