DO THIS IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME

When Jesus came to earth as a man, He not only loved us but He gave us many instructions, some of which were words of hope and encouragement and others were more like gentle commands. Communion is one of the latter. It seems as if it is assumed that we WILL gather together in fellowship to remember Him, and then He instructs us as to how we are to do the “remembrance”; with the bread and the fruit of the vine. But He never said what, exactly, we are supposed to remember, only that we are to remember HIM. This book is written to help us remember all that He is and all that He has done and all that He will do. Jesus was instrumental in the creation, and throughout the history of mankind into eternity. Communion was given as an everlasting celebration as seen in Matthew 26:29, “...I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new WITH YOU in my Father’s Kingdom.” Let’s gather together as He said until we all celebrate together at that glorious communion table in the sky!

Ken was born again into the family of God along with his wife, Diana, in 1968. They ministered together by Ken preaching and teaching while Diana ministered with her beautiful talent in singing. A Christian bookstore/coffeehouse was also one of their ministries. Diana went home to be with Jesus on December 14, 2018. This book is written to share the greatest love there ever was that kept Ken going. He hopes that the comfort and strength of the Lord will be found in these pages as Jesus is remembered!
