Justin Tanner has spent the past few years trying to recover emotionally from the gruesome murder of his beloved wife in Arizona. The former decorated US Army Combat Engineer turned US Forest Service Law Enforcement Officer had moved back to his home state of Idaho in an attempt to escape the horrors of his past. But when a local college coed turns up dead under similar circumstances, Justin must face the possibility that the wrong man was convicted of murder. Justin and his fellow law enforcement professionals face the daunting task of identifying and capturing the real killer before he, or she, strikes again.

Trey Veston was born and raised in Idaho on a small horse ranch on the outskirts of town. He joined the US military and traveled the world before pursuing a career in law enforcement and insurance investigation. He has lived in Idaho, Iowa, Arizona, Hawaii, and Washington state. He currently resides on the border of Idaho and Washington in an idyllic small town full of good people, good neighbors, and almost no crime.
