Terry Beckstrom is a nationally recognized security and behavioral profiling expert who has trained thousands of federal, state, and local law enforcement agents, intelligence officers, and elite tactical units in a multitude of disciplines, including advanced situational awareness and threat recognition, active shooter awareness, officer survival, body language, tactical threat assessment, interrogation tactics, security countermeasures, and behavioral profiling. Terry spent 25 years as a special agent and supervisory special agent with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), investigating international criminal organizations at the highest levels across the globe. In his last assignment, he led one of the most successful enforcement operations groups in DEA history. Terry was temporarily assigned to the FBI following 9/11 to investigate counter-terrorism leads. He has conducted operations with law enforcement and intelligence counterparts throughout the United States and internationally, including the CIA and MI-6. He has also trained tier-one U.S. special forces operators, as well as foreign law enforcement and military officers internationally. Terry graduated from the University of South Carolina/Columbia, attended graduate school at Florida International University in Miami, and holds professional certificates in executive leadership and advanced negotiations from Cornell University and The Harvard Negotiation Institute at Harvard Law School, respectively..
