Denise’s love for God’s creation is shown in her attitude as she recognizes the beauty and wonder that is all around her. She is fascinated with the birds, the bees, the flowers, and the trees, the leaves and the air she breathes. Denise loves life and gives thanks to God for creating her and giving her eyes to see the beauty and wonder of his creation, ears to hear nature, a nose to smell the roses, hands to touch and feel the different textures of his creation, a mouth to give thanks and feet to run and play. There are also discussion questions in the back of the book to help children recognize the beauty and wonder of God’s creation that is all around them.

Sharon D. Johnson, Ph.D., Dr. Johnson has worked in Human Services for over 20 years. She is the President/Founder of First Step Counseling and Consulting Services, LLC in Stone Mountain, Georgia. She served as director of an Early Childhood Development Center where she received the inspiration to write this children’s book. Dr. Johnson is also the author of Discovering Your True Identity, also Step Out of Defeat and Into Your Destiny in Pursuit of Your Purpose: A Call to Serve. Dr. Johnson holds an MA degree in Human Service Counseling Marriage and Families from Liberty University, an MS degree in Human Resource Management/Development from National Louis University, and a Ph.D. degree in Human Services from Capella University. She is married with two adult children.
