TICK, TICK, TICK

In this third book of the Mac Taylor series, Mac faces an old nemesis, Alex “the Bull” Brisco, who is hell-bent on killing him, along with his former Newark Police partner, now Florida resident, Martin Presler. With the help of a computer hacker, Brisco leaves a trail of blood on his way to his ultimate goal. Alerted to Brisco’s plan, Taylor warns his former police partner of the impending threat and tracks Brisco from the streets of New Jersey to two strip clubs in Florida. Now a team again, Taylor and Presler run into several Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers looking to take down a sex trafficker with whom “the Bull” is working. The clock keeps ticking as Brisco rushes to confront and kill the former Newark cops. Meanwhile, Taylor and Presler have plans of their own for the place and time of the killing. It is only time, though, that tells who will be the one—or ones—to pay the ultimate price.
