A Closer Look

In this book, I have presented several poems and a few short stories. I hope that the poems open allow the reader to enjoy existential interpretations I have come across and captured in words. The stories are suppose to keep the reader engulfed in a world of misunderstanding while providing a humorous outcome in the conclusion. Each story gives an interpretation of how life sometimes goes and how we are much of the time at it’s mercy. I hope the reader enjoys my incites and gets a little chuckle at the end of each story.

At first I was not an author but instead a student. I studied English and Creative Writing at Southern New Hampshire University for both a B.A. and an M.A. After graduate school I penned my first novel which is entitled The Arrival from a Far-Off-Place. It did not gain much success but I enjoyed writing it. After Southern New Hampshire, I studied at Arizona State University earning a B.A. and Holy Apostles College earning an M.A. as a student of philosophy. It was here that I began to ask more existential questions based on ethics and metaphysics. Upon considering what I learned at these schools, I was able to complete these poems and short stories with an existential sort of bent. I currently live down The New Jersey Shore and hope to continue my education at some point or another.
