Product description...

A layman’s look at apostle Sha’ul - a Hebrew of Hebrews. A brief overview of his life - the life of a Hebrew Messianic - and a study of his scrolled letter to the Galatian community.

Is there anything more to be said about Sha’ul and specifically about his letter to the Galatians? Does it represent a break with and an abandonment of the Hebrew way - i.e., of Torah? Book description: Taking a layman’s look, from a Hebrew Messianic perspective, at the epistle written by a Hebrew of Hebrews, a founding member of the Messianic sect and a practitioner of the Hebrew way. Did this Hebrew cease being Hebrew? Did he start a new religion? Did he reject the laws, covenants, charges? Does his epistle to the Galatians - his very first letter - promulgate a rejection of the Hebrew way? About what is this somewhat brief letter (epistle)? Let us take another look at the Epistle to the Galatians - a Hebrew sect. Sales pitch: Sometimes, a gem is hidden under man-made teachings that are inherited and commonly accepted beliefs put forward as truths. Let us for a moment revisit Sha’ul’s letter sitting in the pew.

Author Information...

The author was born in Kingston, Jamaica and at the age of eighteen went to study abroad in the USA. He holds a BA (St. Francis College, NY) and MA (Pennsylvania State University). He taught 4 years at Franklin High School, followed by two as Instructor at Hampton University and then 29 + years as a federal civil servant. Following a deadly ischemic stroke on June 25, 2007, during which time he had a miraculous encounter and recovery, he retired. He was led to focus on studying as he sought a deeper and more intimate relationship with Elohim. He had started writing in 1970, and was led to focus more intently on God. On July 2, 2007 - eight days following the stroke at approximately 5:00 A.M. and while still hospitalized, he experienced a life-ending and life-defining event. He FINALLY came to see the Messiah. Thus began his walk in the Hebrew Messianic congregation. And thus began his study of the Tanach and the writings of Sha’ul aka Paulus (Paul). It has been 16 years since the stroke and that meeting held in His presence. To God - Yahua (el Elyon) and to the Mashiach Yahusha and to the Ruach haKodesh, I give thanks.
