Can you see the “Rabbit in the Moon?”

.....or do you see something else? This story was written about the rabbits that lived by the old wash house that sits on the farm in north central Kansas. The big old cement water tank that helped launch a very special rabbit named Harvey into the air was where the cows on our farm came to drink. And we all loved our ole farm dog Pooch who loved chasing those rabbits. This story was written for our granddaughters so that they will remember the farm and the stories we have told them. Sharing it with other children has always been a dream of mine!

Ginger Jensen Gage grew up on a little family farm in Kansas. She has always loved the country life and now is living on her little ranch in north central Texas with her husband. Daily life includes taking care of their 10 cows & calves, her four chickens plus her beautiful kitty Sadie! Being retired gives her plenty of time to pursue her other passions of oil paintings, gardening, walking and baking. She and her husband are in the process of building a home on their acreage.
