Freddie said, “That’s the decent thing to do. Too bad more people aren’t as open-minded.” Ben stretched out on his bunk. I should take more time before jumping to conclusions about these Vietnamese. I suppose they're just like us, not wanting to be judged or hated just because they're different. Freddie's right about respect being a fundamental human right.
