Product description...

In the eyes of most of us, the current state of world society appears to represent a series of random, chaotic, manipulative and nonsensical events which have profoundly affected not only our daily lives but our attitudes and relationships shaping our lives. Furthermore, we feel these events to be beyond our control and not contributed towards with our thoughts, words and actions. In fact, the state of the world is quite predictable using a societal codependency model depicted in this book. Evaluation of basic tenets of human behavior not only explain the course of events in world society today and of all time - it also depicts our individual attitudes as essential building blocks of our current global state. It is in these precarious times that our individual words, attitudes and actions become of paramount importance in the maintenance of a livable world society. This book discusses the psychological tenets which have created our current state and how we could evolve as a world community.

Author Information...

My name is Gerald Radlauer. I am a physician practicing internal medicine in Southern California. In 2004 and 2005, I went on several medical mission trips in urban and rural Kenya. Through these mission trips, I was inspired not only by the tremendous hospitality I felt in Kenya but by the connectivity and relatedness I had living in the United States with those living in a region previously alien to my past experiences in life. It was this connectivity and relatedness which inspired the neogenesis of this book. As a physician, I have become more aware of my connectivity to all patients no matter the difference in life experience, socioeconomic status or geographic origin. As a human being, I appreciate that around the world we have many more similarities than differences and urgently need to express our connectivity in order to maintain a livable world society. I am happily married to my wife Jan and enjoy running (not as fast as I once was), skiing (yeah, it does snow in parts of So Cal) and playing the bassoon.
