Product description...

America's hopes for legalized cannabis rests in the hands of two stoned comics

The idea of marijuana becoming legal in the United States is a very welcoming one to more and more lay people and politicians. Certain politicians and pharmaceutical companies, however, will stop at absolutely nothing to keep that from happening.

For stand-up comedian Chris Kushman and his best friend Jeff Savage, this is the best news that they have heard since finding medical marijuana to overcome the grips of heroin and alcohol addiction. Their excitement builds until they discover the deadly assassination plot to keep the Federal Prohibition going.

What will they do to try to stop these crooked politicians and pharmaceutical monsters? Will they be able to succeed with an angry cartel breathing down their necks?

Author Information...

Christopher Henry ThomasChristopher Henry Thomas is a recovering alcoholic addict and is now a first-time author. He has been battling alcoholism and addiction for almost 20 years. At the age of sixteen, unforeseen circumstances forced him to drop out of school, and forget dreams of playing professional sports. That led to a life of alcohol, drugs, and rehabs. At the age of seventeen Christopher suffered from an overdose that left him in the ICU with brain damage. After that he struggled to get sober, finding himself in and out of rehab again. Finally at the age of twenty-four, he was able to quit narcotics with the help of suboxone but couldn’t quit drinking. Over the next 8 years he would end up back in the same facilities for alcohol. The last trip took him through White Deer Run in Allenwood, PA and then on to Endless Mountains Extended Care in Factoryville, PA. There he reclaimed his passion for writing by seeing what a powerful outlet it was for all his pain, guilt, and suffering. Christopher credits the authoring of this book for keeping him sober. “Writing isn’t just a way to express myself, but it’s also MY way to escape how I’m feeling that doesn’t involve picking up a drink or a drug. Considering all that I’ve gone through in my life, I’ve still managed to write an amazing fiction adventure. If that isn’t redemption, I’m not sure what it is!”
