Pausing, Bruffer baited Bruce. “Bugliano, you got that?” Everyone felt the tension rise as the sparring unfolded. Bruce was careful, but his sarcasm was evident as he pretended he wasn’t listening, “What, Sergeant?” Bruffer snarled, “You better get with the program, soldier!” “I’m your best soldier, and I’m ready to take your job when you leave,” Bruce smirked. “We’re all wishing you an early ETS, Sergeant.” “Don’t be a smart-ass!” the Sergeant barked. “I thought you said we all need to be smarter, Sergeant?” Sergeant Bruffer’s face turned red hot as he glared at Bruce.
