When a young man witnesses his friend die on the basketball court, it’s a life-changing wake-up call. He realizes that there is just one step between life and death, and above all, he is a Christian, not a thug. Only Jesus will be able to carry his friend beyond the grave. He tells his fellow mourners, “Just like our friend needed a Savior, you need a Savior too...not a homie!”

Rosie Wiggins O'Bannon is a wife, mother, grandmother, business owner, author, and, most importantly, a Christian. It is her Christian upbringing and love for the Lord that gets her through each day. Although she enjoys writing in her spare time, she is over two decades into a legacy that began simply as a leap of faith. She found that so many children needed a lifeline, and she gave them a ray of hope—her contribution to change children's lives for generations—through A Ray of Hope Preschool & Child Care Center, established June 16, 1997.
