Author Information...

Thomas W. Geist grew up in Oklahoma City and attended Oklahoma State Unitversity and Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where he obtained his Bachelor's degree in 1978. He assisted in the management of his parents' restaurant for a few years before becoming a teacher in 1979. He spent most of his adult life in the field of education, teaching secondary science courses, coaching athletics, and as a local building administrator in both western Oklahoma and Colorado. He earned a Master's degree from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in 1992. He also worked for the Human Resources Division of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services for almost ten years. He is now retired, living in Oklahoma City, and devotes his time to his wife Melanie and his many family members..
