Product description...

This book should be quite helpful in pointing out problems faced by non-English- speaking students when they enter the American education system. According to many articles comparing education in the U.S. with other countries, unfortunately, the U.S. education system is mediocre compared to the rest of the world. Because of the problems in U.S. schools, coupled with students who speak other languages in their homes by family members not proficient in English, those students are at a definite disadvantage. I think this book will be quite important in moving the education in schools in the right direction to help these students better fit into American society by learning better communication skills, and thus, having better opportunities to succeed in their endeavors.
