Sammy Spina is one of the brightest young-minds in the athlete representation industry. His journey to becoming an NFL Agent was unconventional, yet his belief in Jesus led him down a path to work with some of the greatest athletes to ever step foot on a football field.

Sammy wrote The Fight as an inspirational and motivational memoir about his path to becoming an NFL agent, his work in one of the most competitive industries in the world, his father’s battle with cancer, and his journey to finding faith in Jesus Christ. Sammy takes readers inside of his mind as his father’s battle with cancer worsens and he provides real-life illustrations to teach the valuable life lessons that he learned along the way.

An innovator in the sports marketing and representation industry, Sammy grew up in a small town 35 miles south of Pittsburgh, PA. During his upbringing, Sammy participated in many sports including: soccer, hockey, wrestling, football, and martial arts. By the age of 12, he earned his Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, which he still credits to his discipline today. While competing in Martial Arts, Sammy won the Pennsylvania State Championship seven times, one national title, and the Arnold Schwarzenegger classic. After high school, Sammy attended Washington & Jefferson College where he obtained his Bachelor degree in English. While at W&J, Sammy fought & competed in the 2010 Golden Gloves Boxing Tournament, finishing in 2nd place. After college, he took a two-year break from school and became the co-founder of the Western Pennsylvania Prescription Drug Abuse Summit, which was a program that traveled to local high schools and middle schools around western Pennsylvania to educate students, teachers, parents, and community leaders on the dangers of prescription drug abuse. There he worked with (at the time) a man who was second in command for the United State DEA, the Pennsylvania Attorney General, as well as community leaders including: District Attorneys, local DEA officers, local law enforcement officers, drug & alcohol commission leaders, recovering addicts, coroners, and many others. In 2014, Sammy decided to pursue his passion for law and attended St. Thomas University School of Law. While there he started working for Neostar Football, a sports agency based out of Fort Lauderdale, FL. In 2017, he graduated from St. Thomas University School of Law and St. Thomas University School of Business with both his J.D. and MBA in Sports Administration. Around that same time, he was named equity partner and Vice President of Neostar Football. Currently, Sammy continued to serve as Vice President for Neostar Football and is the company’s head NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor. Furthermore, he oversees all of the endorsement opportunities for Neostar’s retired clients such as: Dan Marino, Jason Taylor, Troy Polamalu, Dwight Stephenson, etc. Furthermore, Sammy is a published author of the upcoming personal growth book titled “The Fight” which is scheduled to release early 2022! The book discusses his journey to becoming an NFL agent, work in one of the most competitive industries in the world, his father’s battle with cancer, and his journey to finding faith in Jesus Christ.
