Covering over seventy years or more of the author’s life, these stories hop-scotch through places and times. Beginning with early scenes of his family, then moving through a “jungle” of memorable adventures, some of which he wouldn’t wish on anyone, but some of which he found profoundly exciting and full of incredible people and events in this jungle that shapes this narrative.

David Harscheid was born in Springfield, Massachusetts and later grew up in Michigan, Florida, and Alabama. In Huntsville, Alabama, he worked as an editor for NASA on the Saturn V, which put the first Astronauts on the moon. He married his wife, Ursula, in Huntsville and later, after their daughter, Karla, was born they moved to Iran (beautiful country and people; the subject of his next book.), where David worked as an editor for an engineering company. He earned a BS in English, History, Theater & Music, (Univ. North Alabama, 1963), and a Graduate Degree in Acting from the Webber-Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, London, England, in 1973. He has spent over fifty years acting on Stage (including Broadway), TV, and in Feature films. He now lives in North Carolina, with his wife, his daughter Karla, and their dog, Dyna.
