Roy Saldibar a proud veteran that served his country for 6.5 years in the US Army. Left the military with an honorable discharge. First encounters of the supernatural began while in the military. Supernatural meaning the journey to becoming a true Christian. Once becoming a Christian in a Spanish Pentecostal Church in Dallas Texas, moved to an English Pentecostal Assemblies of God Church in Irving Texas. Being bi-lingual but had a difficult time in the all speaking Spanish church was led by the Holy Spirit to moved to an all speaking church. Upon arrival the teaching and training began to be prepared for the work of the ministry that God had ordained. Knowing that the calling was to be a pastor, some did look down on a baby Christian as thou he didn’t know what he was talking about. Nevertheless didn’t allow people or circumstances get in the way of
learning and get closer to God in the spirit realm. The first learning phase took 3.5 years. During this time did street ministry. Drove a truck that was used during street outreaches. Was involved in going into Mexico for street outreach ministry as well. Went to every bible class offered at church or at people’s homes. Like the Blues Brothers, I was on a mission from God to learn and watch so that I could get ready to fulfill His plans. Left the church to move on to the next step of becoming a pastor. Upon arrival in
Arlington Texas another spirit filled church, was immediately embraced by the pastor of the church who saw and recognized my calling right away! Soon after began leadership classes by the pastor. Went on even to help another pastor start his church, with my pastor’s permission. Also traveled out of town to go and evangelize for a period of two years. During this time was ordained and placed in the position of a pastor. I moved on from that church due to circumstances I won’t discuss, but the church closed its doors. Finding myself and family without a church home we began to search and ask God what He wanted us to do. The Lord had us join a church for a little over 15 months. Another learning phase of where the Lord was taking us. I had been sent there to help the pastor but he never utilized my wisdom. The Lord moved me to start bible study classes at my
mobile home for about a year and that came to an end. Soon after I purchased a home asking the Lord what was next and the following year He told me to start a church in my home, so I did. I taught, trained, and preached about 50 people in my home. The Lord had me to start doing this with the hardest people to reach with the gospel; my family! I baptized about 40 of them, several baby dedications, and a few weddings as well. Since then I have kept on studying to the point that I now have my Doctors Degree through Texas University of Theology from Irving Texas. The same church that I was a member of years ago. Now this is my first book, about my life experiences. After this I will publish two more books dealing with body, soul, and spirit. I want to let people know of God’s wisdom operating through me and help them to hopefully receive some of what I have learned in my walk with Christ. The Lover Of My Soul!
