Kayla Barker is a young author who has loved books and writing since a very young age. Her experience in this book is a very close and personal one because it is about a young girl who struggles with her mother and the monsters that haunt her mother pertaining to mental illness and the struggles with that. Kayla resides with her three children in California. She is a very passionate writer who would love to continue to share her experiences with the world through her writings.
