Staying Joyfully Married...My Little Book of “What-Nots,” is a book about ‘what not’ to do in marriage. Under the obedience of The Holy Spirit, I was instructed to share the ‘struggles’ of my marriage journey. I may not be able to tell you what to do. But I can share with you ‘what not’ to do in order to help ensure that you stay joyfully married. These are my little ‘charms’ that have been hand-picked from my tailor-made garden. The enemy thought he was going to use my little ‘charms’ for my demise, but God saw differently. God is using these same little ‘charms’ for His glory. And now, these little ‘charms’ have become my testimony. My testimony that God can use even me, in my mistakes. My testimony that God can use even me, in my brokenness. My testimony that God can use even me, in my insecurities. My testimony that God can use even me, in my vulnerabilities. My testimony that God can use even me, in my self-destructive choices. I do not know what my future holds, but I do know ‘Who’ holds my future. And I anxiously await the next ‘Big Reveal’ that God has ordained for my life.

Tena L. Parker is a native Texan and a Doctor of Pharmacy. Tena is the author of two other books for your reading pleasure, “From Trial to Test to Testimony...The Promise of Eden” and “Growing Up In Marriage...Perfectly Flawed.” Tena enjoys making people smile and laugh, helping others, and spending quality time with her family.
