Robin Reed-Poindexter was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska and currently resides in the San Francisco bay area. She is a proud mother of three and loving grandmother of three. Her granddaughter Macky was the inspiration that spark the character of Middle Maddy and brought her love for children’s literature to life! Middle Maddy successfully infuses Reed-Poindexter’s childhood experiences with the adventures of her first granddaughter early childhood years. Robin recently retired from the City of Richmond Fire department after serving thirty-one years. She dedicates her time to loving her grandchildren and capturing new moments to continue to write her Middle Maddy’s series. Robin has started a new series MacKenzie Mystery Minis, (coming soon).
