Product description...

“Pinnacle of Educational Excellence is directly related to a true reclamation of One’s Historical Crown”

The life journey continues and must be shared with all others for the purpose of setting the historical record straight. Persons of the African diaspora are reclaiming their crown by establishing their true narrative. “True teaching is not an accumulation of knowledge; it is an awakening of consciousness which goes through successive stages,” says a Kemetic African proverb. Parents, grandparents, and/or guardians—the village—indeed needs to share the experience of this book. It is a Sankofa journey for the African diaspora, but it is not exclusively for people of African descent only, but all people can benefit from what is shared. It can be applied to all cultures that have been subjected to less than appropriate true historical representation. Let it be clear, the African historical legacy is in fact the focus of this continued work. All people whose story is not told in truth are encouraged to seek their own truth in order to establish a strong foundation of self-esteem for the young students of all backgrounds and heritages. One’s mind and opinions are controlled by how a person determines to processes their individual thought patterns, based on facts and data presented. As such, let the dialogue continue based on an alternative visions; thereby absorb these facts in order to explore the spectrum of multiple ideas. The goal is never to change minds, but present facts seldom exposed. Those who do fully read this work, please feel free to pass it forward to families, neighbors, schoolmates, coworkers, in deed individuals of all cultures and backgrounds, no matter what their social/political prospective may be, so we all can share truth in the history of this world from a true African prospective.

Author Information...

R. E. Vincent Daniels B.S. and M.S. college degrees Born and raised in Bedford Stuyvesant community in Brooklyn, New York, I am a parent of three and a grandparent of three, four boys and two girls of African descent. The adult children all are products of a public school system with standardized curriculum and syllabus geared to Eurocentric inferences; a classical “Colonial Education”. The theme of this book draws from firsthand experiences in a public school classroom environment that show little to no respect for any peoples of color, rather they be Native, Asian, Hispanic, or from the African diaspora. The false lessons that the educational system indoctrinates the student body with is that those of European heritage are inherently superior to all people of color and therefore can regard those people of color as less than human beings of worth, “Child of a Lesser God”? America in particular is the current incubator and purveyor who promulgates such thinking and exports this mindset to others cultures around the world. This work is designed to contradict this false narrative from the perspective of youthful minds when they are helped to research the true history of their family homeland of origin. The resulting self-esteem explosion translates into a life-changing thirst for all world knowledge, and the students then reach for their personal academic pinnacle. They automatically become critical thinkers at all levels, questioning the motives of those in positions of authority. It is this curriculum gap for students of color that shortchanges their aspirations for academic excellence. The available educational metrics, both locally and nationally, confirm this theory many times over when accessing the classroom performance of students of color versus students of European heritage.
