I was assaulted by a cruel and uncaring assassin. Numbness was my first reaction followed by fear, confusion, sorrow, anger, and pain in an ever changing, repetitious pattern. This intrusion had already threatened to not only shatter my life, but end it. Retaliation was recognized slowly but being true to who I am, I have fought with all my mind and strength.

My name is Judith Dwyer Fugate and at the time of this writing it is late in the year of 2019 and I am 57 years old. I am a widow, divorcee and currently married to the man I have dated since 1998. I am a mother of three and a grandmother of four! I have a heart of gold, temper of a grizzly bear, curse like a truck driver and have a warped and direct sense of humor. I call it like I see it and even I am surprised at some of the shit that comes out of my mouth! LOL Did I really just say that? 

I am writing this book, not only for myself and the processing of emotions but mostly for my fellow warriors.  You are not alone!  If I can survive what I've been through, so can you! There's always hope and maybe my story will help you in some small way, if for no other reason that you are not alone.......
