Product description...

Two Boys with a War in Common

Two Boys describes the lives of two men born a day apart and half way around the world from each other. By nature this book is historical, but on a very personal level. For example, what did pre-teens think about the polio epidemic or how did a preteen feel about being a refugee. This book illustrates behind every headline there are real people just like us.

“I enjoyed Two Boys and actually learned a lot about Atlantic. Ihor led an interesting life from childhood to his career in the United States. I found the book held my interest no matter which of the two boys I was reading about. I enjoyed the personal element of writing and learned more about history in an extremely palatable form.” —Gordon Curtis

“I’m old enough to have seen parts of World War II with the original cast”. —Ihor Bekersky

“Two Boys could have just as easily been entitled “Two Worlds”. The span of time, distance, and world events is vast, but made real by these two boys. I greatly enjoyed getting to know these two future friends and the time period surrounding WWII and beyond. I am sure that readers, like me, will wish they could meet the men they grew to become.” —Michael Dunn
