Carolyn Hayes is a retired Elementary School Teacher from the New York City Public School System and has had the opportunity to teach in both New Jersey and Washington State, and also overseas at the American International School of Lagos in Nigeria, the American International School of Cairo in Egypt, and Naseem International School in Bahrain. About the Illustrator: Anne Allison has a degree in Art from Caldwell University in Caldwell, New Jersey, a Master’s Degree in Education from Hood College in Fredrick, Maryland, and has done some Post Graduate work at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Anne has taught Art for thirty years and currently has a studio in Columbus, Ohio. Anne’s artwork is primarily paintings done in various mediums. The cover for this book was done in acrylics, oil pastels, and fine marker.
