The Book of Carlaology is a book of prayers and non-fictional short stories. This book was dedicated and written with the purpose to explain, inspire, encourage, and to be a voice to those individuals that have at one time or another believed that no one understood or supported their ideas, as well as their purpose in life.

Growing up in rural Simpsonville, South Carolina, becoming a teacher was not my first career choice. Like my sister, I was encouraged to attend college. I received my high school diploma in August of 1987 and a few years later, enrolled in Beauty College taking up cosmetology. After working as a nail technician, I attended Lander University and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in History, while working as a customer service clerk at United Postal Service. As an educational professional with 17+ years of experience in the classroom, I am adept in classroom instruction. I am a dedicated teacher, with a deep love and joy in working with children. Being highly skilled in motivating students, I enjoy working towards utilizing positive encouragement, while reinforcing a variety of concepts through interactive instruction. I have a passion that encompasses a great love to those that have had a powerful impact in my life. Believing that love, compassion, and perseverance are forces that compel people to give and live their best lives, I enjoy helping others work towards releasing positive energy to those that they meet along life’s journey. When utilizing your gifts and talents, it is important to realize that your actions can also be beneficial in making a difference in the lives of others. When individuals find themselves on a spiritual path, everyday occurrences are not always going to be easy, which is what lead me to writing this book. I believe that there will be difficult situations, good days, bad days, and often times when people might doubt themselves. However, through it all, just know that everything is all a part of the process. Remember that even when we find ourselves in the midst of trials, God is able, and that when you are living a purposeful life, trust the process, maintain focused, and you will reach your goals.
