Remember you are the light so let your light shine

When you stop looking for the one and you focus on yourself to be the best one, you’ll attract people that are more than what you want and exactly what you need. If you have been brutally broken, but still have the courage to be gentle to others, then you deserve a love deeper than the ocean itself. Don’t let your wishes and desires stop God’s plan for your life. If you beg for what you want, you might not get what you actually need and deserve. When God is in it there is no limit. Don’t shrink your potential because others don’t see what God has put inside of you. When you put your mind to it and pray over the work you have done, the lord will open up doors for you that you’d never thought could be opened. When God is about to elevate you, people will disappoint you, friends will betray you, you will start feeling isolated and left alone. In that very moment God will be your only source of help and he alone will take the Glory. This story is about my life. Each wound left a scar each scar tells a story this story says I survived. In the end I found myself and love what I have become.

She came to the United States when she was 18 after being born and raised in Guyana. She is currently employed at one of New York’s top hospital in Finance and she never imagined she would become a published author but is excited to be on this journey. She carries a Bachelor of Arts degree from Phoenix University Derry is an avid reader and loves to write. “The Scars I Come With” was written to inspire others by sharing the story of her life. She wants her readers to know that they can overcome challenges by trusting in God and walking in their true purpose. Her passion is making sure her readers are aware that their greatest gift in life is the Love of God, and that it should be shared with everyone they meet.
