Product description...

“Come on! Come on Lima Bean strike this lulu out!” Eddie Eagle Claw Lima towered over the top of the pitcher’s mound. His back was lined with sweat. He straightened his cap, palmed the ball in his mitt, waiting on Knuckles O’Brien to give the pitch sign. It was June 1926. There was a heat wave here in Benton. I can’t recall what part of June it had been. I do remember the game.

Author Information...

J.L.B. LaClef is just a humble Artist who enjoys creating pictures for the human imagination. Her inspiration for this worded work of Art stems from spending Summers with her grandparents and hearing their stories. During the Summer of 2014 The Dusty Roads and Samantha McGinty was born. J.L.B. LaClef’s fondness for relatable characters drove her to create a Tomboy who doesn’t follow the old stereotype: tomboy sees cute boy, tomboy goes girlie. She adds her own fictionalized experiences to the book to take you on an action packed adventure in how Samantha McGinty meets Kenneth ‘Gunny’ Gunther. Awkwardness included!
