Toby Rose goes from Rodeo Clown with his owner Billy in Kansas and Oklahoma. Then sold to new owners Gordy and Guy that take Toby Rose to Alaska with his best friend Sam the horse too Prospect. Finally becoming part of the Tonzona Caribou Herd.

In my travels throughout Alaska I came to understand that most children and many residents of Alaska have only seen the part of Alaska they live in. I wanted to write my stories where the reader felt like they were an animal like the characters in the story. Every story in the “Alaska Animal Tails” series is a place I have been and observed the animals in that area. I give a little history about the animals that are main characters in each book of the “Alaska Animal Tails” series. Each location of a story is a place I have been, so the reader could follow the story on a map of Alaska, and hopefully close their eyes too see the land I describe in each story. I hope you enjoy “Alaska Animal Tails” as much as I enjoy telling my stories. Many of the stories within the stories are true about the animals in their land.
