Author Information...

Heather L. PurdyHi. My name is Heather Purdy. I’m in my 30’s, and the mother of two beautiful young kids, Stanley and Alyssa. On March 8, 2005 my life was turned upside-down. I had a brain aneurysm that erupted while I was driving. I ran off the road and struck a tree. I dislocated my neck and became quadriplegic. Since then I’ve had several strokes, numerous surgical operations, and years of physical therapy. This memoir is my way of sharing my pain, fears, suffering, and yes, my love of life, and my determination to walk again, strengthened by my enduring faith in God the Creator. I hope these words help lift the spirits and inspire everyone who reads them, especially those who also face pain and suffering in their life.
